Whistles Against Street Harassment (WASH)

VCU Police, in partnership with a team from Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, has launched Whistles Against Street Harassment. Street harassment includes catcalling, kissing noises, horn honking, staring and unwanted conversations. Whistles can be used to deter or call attention to it. Whistles are available at Rhoads Hall, Brandt Hall, Gladding Residence Center, James Branch Cabell Library, University Student Commons, Larrick Student Center, Cary Street Gym and VCU Health Sciences Library. Do You Vape?

Individuals between the ages of 18-65 who vape nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are invited to participate in a research study that examines the effects of vaping on eating behavior. Two, three-hour laboratory visits, each with a buffet meal, are required. Compensation is provided.
