VCU Medical Center presents a free seminar about deep brain stimulation as part of the Lewis Ginter Seminar Series. Kathryn Holloway, M.D., VCU Harold F. Young Neurosurgical Center, will discuss how deep brain stimulation can be used to restore balance and help with neurologic and psychiatric disorders that are beyond the reach of medications. The University Student Commons & Activities offers free tickets to the Flying Squirrels baseball game on Thursday, Aug. 7, at 7:05 p.m. at The Diamond, 3001 N. Boulevard. The Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute: Accepting Applications for HIGHER Ground Women’s Leadership Development Program

The HIGHER Ground Women’s Leadership Development Program is a five-month leadership development experience for current and emerging women leaders who are committed to investing in themselves and their organizations. HIGHER Ground is designed to benefit women at all career levels in public, private, nonprofit and entrepreneurial positions. The application deadline is Saturday, Nov. 1. Grades Due by Noon on Tuesday, August 12

Grading for summer 2014 has begun. Grade sheets are available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Tuesday, August 12, at which time grading will be turned off. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned in the class schedule. Faculty who do not see one of their grade sheets should contact their department's course scheduling representative.
