The Office of Environmental Health and Safety offers dangerous goods shipping training and certification in Sanger Hall, Room 6-032. This training session is mandatory for any VCU/VCU Health System employees who ship Department of Transportation (DOT) dangerous goods. It is illegal to ship dangerous goods without the proper training and certification. The training course will cover IATA and DOT regulations pertaining to shipment of dangerous goods by air. High School Graduations at Siegel Center Will Affect Traffic June 3-14

Automobile traffic will be heavier than normal on the Monroe Park Campus through Saturday, June 14, due to high school graduation ceremonies at the Siegel Center. The greatest delays are expected to occur 45 minutes before and after each ceremony. Attendees will park primarily in the West Broad Street and Bowe Street parking decks. Weight Watchers Meetings on Campus

Employees may join Weight Watchers anytime with the monthly pass program. Meetings are held on campus every week. Employees eligible for the health benefits program may also be reimbursed for half the cost of services, once they have completed program requirements. Meetings on the MCV Campus are held every Wednesday at noon in the Alumni House, Room 217 and meetings on the Monroe Park Campus are held every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Harris Hall. Work/Life Resources: 'Recipe For a Healthier Heart'

Work/Life Resources presents CommonHealth Brown Bag Seminars in June. Rose O’Toole, CommonHealth regional coordinator, will discuss "Recipe for a Healthier Heart" on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses.
