RecWell Personal Training

VCU Recreation and Well-Being (RecWell) has reopened registration for personal training services for VCU students and RecWell members. Trainers work with clients to reach individual fitness and wellness goals, including building muscle, weight management, recovery from a previous injury or developing mindful movement practice. RecWell offers a variety of training packages, each of which includes a 45-minute fitness consultation that allows clients to talk to their trainer about health, fitness history and goals. Patients With Painful Diabetic Neuropathy Are Invited To Participate in a Study of a Potential New Treatment

We are inviting male and female Type 2 diabetes patients with painful diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation of a new treatment to alleviate pain and examine its effects on pain perception. In addition to the new treatment, this study involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. Participants are only required to come once for the study.
