Arthur Ashe Blvd. Monmouth University will play North Carolina A&T at 2 p.m. March 11, VCU will play North Carolina A&T at 6:30 p.m. March 11, VCU will play Monmouth at 2 p.m. March 12 and VCU will again play Monmouth at 1 p.m. March 13. Black Space Matters: Season 2 Premiere

Humphrey Fellowship Program Symposium: Mental Well-Being and Substance Use Among Youth: A Global Perspective

Divine Duty: Islam and Social Justice

Nisa Muhammad, D.Min., assistant dean for religious life at Howard University, will speak on how Islam has a profound tradition of social justice that is rooted in God’s revelations to the Prophet Muhammad. She will also reference the historical work of the abolitionist Abdul Qadr Kan, and how Islam and social justice are seen today. Recreation and Well-Being (RecWell) Outdoor Adventure Weekly Activities
Join Outdoor Adventure Program trip leaders on weekday afternoons to explore what the outdoors has to offer nearby. No experience is required, but comfort in water encouraged for river activities. … Ready, SET, Health. Researchers at VCU are looking for young women interested in changing their diet and physical activity routine to enroll in a new study. Eligible participants will receive a free program designed to help them meet their goals for healthy living. The study requires two in-person data collection visits (one before the program and one after), but the entire four-month program is conducted completely online.

Online Study for Black/African American Menthol Smokers
You are invited to participate in an online study if you are age 18 or older, smoke menthol cigarettes, identify as Black/African American and willing to complete a 30-minute online survey about tobacco flavor regulations. Do You Smoke Tobacco Cigarettes?
Individuals who smoke tobacco cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation may be available. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
