RecWell Log Rolling Clinic

Gilman Scholarship, which awards up to $5,000 to students who receive a Pell Grant and want to study or intern abroad. The Gilman McCain Scholarship awards $5,000 for child dependents of active duty service members using Title IV federal financial aid to study or intern abroad. Lecture by Visiting Artist Laura Owens

University Student Health Services currently offers free COVID-19 vaccines to all students on both campuses. In addition, there will be an upcoming clinic at the Seigel Center lobby, 1200 W. UCS Identity-Based Support Groups
University Counseling Services offers a variety of identity-based support groups for students to connect and build community with peers who share an important identity. RecWell Basic Life Support With First Aid Blended Learning Course
The basic life support with first aid blended learning course offered by VCU Recreation and Well-Being (RecWell) is intended for health-care providers responding to cardiac and breathing emergencies. The course specializes in skills in CPR, AED and first aid, along with elements of communication and adaptability when responding to emergencies. Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Exercise
This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have generalized anxiety disorder or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
