"A Museum Is a School" is a site-specific, conceptual work by Camnitzer that has been displayed at over 20 museums around the world. Va-LEND is recruiting its next cohort of trainees. LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) is a training program that helps people share ideas and learn leadership skills. It was created to improve the health and lives of children and adults with disabilities and their family members. Trainees complete classes, clinical observations, policy activities and a family mentorship experience. Over the course of the program, trainees work on their leadership project which they present at the end of the program. Trainees complete 150 or 300 hours of content.
