VCU Police and students with the VCU School of Pharmacy will work together on a Drug Take Back Day event which provides people a safe place to dispose of medications and educate them about safe medication disposal. Vapes or cigarettes may also be brought for disposal. The event will take place at James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave.

South Asian Roots of Yoga

RamBikes Workshop Series: Brakes

Grant Funded Study Abroad Program
VCU's Global Education Office and the School of Education are inviting applications for a STEM Education Exchange program with travel to either Colombia or Mexico. The program aims to increase participants’ intercultural competencies while engaging in in-depth discussion and exploration of STEM concepts across cultures. It starts with a May 10-June 24 online course followed by one week in person at VCU and one week abroad in Colombia (July 11-July 15) or Mexico (July 4-July 8). Thanks to grant funding, program fees have been reduced to $210 (Colombia) and $285 (Mexico), which includes airfare and accommodations abroad. Students will also pay applicable VCU tuition for the associated TEDU course (1-3 credits), meals ($50/day) and should budget approx. $100 while abroad. Spots are limited; apply ASAP. Patients With Painful Diabetic Neuropathy Are Invited To Participate in a Study of a Potential New Treatment
We are inviting male and female Type 2 diabetes patients with painful diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation of a new treatment to alleviate pain and examine its effects on pain perception. In addition to the new treatment, this study involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. Participants are only required to come once for the study. The study is conducted within the VCU Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab.
