Second Public Comment Period for VCU’s Hazard Mitigation Plan
3 p.m.
As part of emergency preparedness, VCU is actively updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan, which identifies vulnerabilities to various hazards to VCU and sets long-term strategies to reduce or eliminate risk to life and property. VCU continues to seek feedback from community members, including areas of concern, to help reduce the impact of potential disasters. The VCU community is invited to attend a second public comment session via a recorded Zoom session. Register at the following URL.

Opioid Overdose First Aid Workshop
Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Megan Donohue, M.D., will lead an opioid overdose workshop to teach participants how to recognize an overdose and what to do, including naloxone administration and CPR training. The workshop, at the James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Marshall St., will be hosted by VCU’s ACCESS and ITSDP programs, along with the PTS.
