RecWell’s 2022 Faculty/Staff Golf League will be hosted at newly renovated Belmont Golf Course. The new site includes a driving range, 18-hole putting course, and six-hole par-3 course. Join VCU’s Queer Research and Advocacy Center, known as the Q Collective, for a paid summer intensive on LGBT+/Queer Studies. We are inviting male and female Type 2 diabetes patients with painful diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation of a new treatment to alleviate pain and examine its effects on pain perception. In addition to the new treatment, this study involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. Participants are only required to come once for the study. The study is conducted within the VCU Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab. This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identify as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available.
