Test Pattern 03: Moor Mother at ICA
Friday, Jun. 3, 2022 at 7 p.m.
Moor Mother will reunite with Richmond musician Ohbliv, one of the producers on her debut studio album "Fetish Bones," for a live musical performance. The free event will be at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St. They will be joined by Philadelphia-based artists Vitche-Boul Ra and justmadnice, and local cellist Elijah Hall. A conversation with artist and VCU professor Caitlin Cherry will follow.

'. . . and Drive (Far Away)' - Performance by Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste
Friday, Jun. 10, 2022 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
" . . . and Drive (Far Away)" is a mixed media sound installation and durational performance by "Set It Off" artist Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste which centers on a cross-country drive in a decommissioned police car. Throughout his week-long solo drive from Tucson, Ariz., to Richmond, Toussaint-Baptiste will perform activations in key cities along Interstate 10 and Interstate 95, highways that are themselves arteries of Gulf South sonority. The culminating performance in Richmond, which will be open to the public, will be held at 401 W. Broad St. This performance is co-presented by VCU's Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 1708 Gallery and Martos Gallery, New York.

Twins, Triplets and More
The Mid-Atlantic Twin Registry is a group of twins and their families who are willing to consider taking part in twin-based, health-related research. MATR welcomes twins of any age, ethnicity and zygosity (identical or fraternal). All twins and triplets in the VCU community are invited to to register with MATR and to pass the registry's information on to any other twins.
