Recreation and Well-Being Relaunches Massage Therapy Services

VCU RecWell's Massage Therapy is now open for registration for VCU students, RecWell members and VCU faculty/staff non-members. Services are available at both Cary Street Gym and the MCV Campus Recreation Center. Massage Therapy Services has relaunched with additional upgrades, including automated online registration and scheduling system, as well as multi-session package deals.

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Exercise

This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Black Love Safe Love

This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identify as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available.

Do You Vape Electronic Cigarettes?

Individuals who vape or use electronic cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation will be provided. This study will be conducted at VCU. The principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
