Sept. 11 Recognition Ceremony
8:30 a.m.
The VCU Military Student Services Office will hold a Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony at the VCU Student Commons Plaza. A wreath will be laid and taps will be played as a moment is taken to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11/01. Following the ceremony there will be an opportunity to socialize and "hike the plaza" in honor of the fallen.

The Shelfies at SHIFT Retail Lab, 1235 W. Broad St., have about a month to showcase and test their ideas and need your help. They could be working on a product or service that is already developed or starting at the beginning, with just an idea. During their time on the shelves they will collaborate on a group pop-up market. 'To Tell It Like It Is' - A Teach-In

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Survey for Faculty
Faculty is invited to participate in a research study on individual perceptions regarding the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). Even if you've not participated in SoTL, your perspective is important. Results will be used to develop initiatives to promote SoTL work, both at VCU and within higher education generally. Do You Smoke Tobacco Cigarettes?
Individuals who smoke tobacco cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation may be available. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.

Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available.
