Morning Communion Service

The Last Turtlemen of the Caribbean: Greer Lecture in Latin American History

The VCU History Department will present a webinar, "The Last Turtlemen of the Caribbean." Tracing the lives, labor and mobilities of Caymanian turtle fishers from the 1880s to the 1970s, Sharika Crawford, Ph.D., will discuss the entangled demise of sea turtle populations and Caymanian turtle fishermen in the Caribbean. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers
Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts/ surveys. Compensation is provided. Principal investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Health Behavior and Policy, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Psychology.
