Rammalogues: Living in a Post-Roe World

Since the 1970s, access to abortion has been legal in the United States. This has changed under the recent Supreme Court decision. Tour Historic Jackson Ward

Hike to Belle Isle

Interested in exploring the James River, but don't know where to start? The Pace Center will host a guided walk to Belle Isle. Participants will hike through Oregon Hill over the suspension bridge to Belle Isle, walk the main gravel loop around Belle Isle and walk back to Pace. The four-mile hike will last approximately two hours. Bring water and wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Meet at the Pace Center, 700 W. Franklin St.

Whistles Against Street Harassment (WASH)
VCU Police, in partnership with a team from Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, has launched Whistles Against Street Harassment. Street harassment includes catcalling, kissing noises, horn honking, staring and unwanted conversations. Whistles can be used to deter or call attention to it. Whistles are available at Rhoads Hall, Brandt Hall, Gladding Residence Center, James Branch Cabell Library, University Student Commons, Larrick Student Center, Cary Street Gym and VCU Health Sciences Library.

Do You Vape?
Individuals between the ages of 18-65 who vape nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are invited to participate in a research study that examines the effects of vaping on eating behavior. Two, three-hour laboratory visits, each with a buffet meal, are required. Compensation is provided. Principal investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
