Olympic Weightlifting 101: Clean and Snatch will review the principles of overhead ballistic lifts focusing on the snatch. Learn how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace CPR/AED and first aid training. Free English Language Course for Refugees/Asylees
The English Language Program is offering a free, in-person course from Oct. 18-Dec. 16 for asylum seekers and refugees who are interested in attending university in the United States. Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available. Do You Vape Electronic Cigarettes?
Individuals who vape/use electronic cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation will be provided. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
