Cashiers Office To Close Early for Fiscal Year End

VCU's Cashiers office will close at noon on Thursday, June 30, for fiscal year-end processing. All payments and deposits should be at the Cashiers Office at Grace Harris Hall, 1015 Floyd Ave., no later than 11:30 a.m. June 30 to ensure timely processing. The last pickup at the VMI Building drop box, 1000 E. Marshall St., will be 9 a.m. on June 30. After this time, items should be brought to the Harris Hall Office.

Do You Vape Electronic Cigarettes?

Individuals who vape/use electronic cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation will be provided. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.

Black Love Safe Love

This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identify as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120 minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available.

Patients With Painful Diabetic Neuropathy Are Invited To Participate in a Study of a Potential New Treatment

We are inviting male and female Type 2 diabetes patients with painful diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation of a new treatment to alleviate pain and examine its effects on pain perception. In addition to the new treatment, this study involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. Participants are only required to come once for the study. The study is conducted within the VCU Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab. Volunteers Sought for Ultrasound Study

There is a potentially useful technique measuring blood flow on ultrasound as a way to noninvasively identify extremity compartment syndrome (dangerously elevated pressures in arms or legs). VCU's Dept. of Emergency Medicine plans to perform a study to investigate this hypothesis with 25 healthy volunteers. The study will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
