Levis Prize Night: Reading by Devon Walker-Figueroa

Devon Walker-Figueroa, winner of the 2022 Levis Reading Prize for "Philomath," will read from her poetry collection in the lecture hall, Room 303, James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave. The Prize honors the poet and former VCU professor Larry Levis, who died in 1996. The Levis Reading Prize is presented on behalf of VCU's M.F.A. in Creative Writing Program in partnership with VCU Libraries. The reading is free and open to all.

2022 Levis Reading Prize: Devon Walker-Figueroa

Devon Walker-Figueroa, winner of the 2022 Levis Reading Prize, will read from her poetry collection "Philomath." "Philomath," Walker-Figueroa’s debut full-length poetry collection was selected by Sally Keith for the 2020 National Poetry Series. The Levis Reading Prize is awarded annually for the best first or second book of poetry published in the previous calendar year and chosen by the M.F.A. in creative writing program at VCU. Community Health and the Built Environment

Recreation and Well-Being Children's Swim Lessons Fall Session 2

Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Compensation is available.
