Banner Services Outage
From 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 to approximately 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, Banner will be unavailable while it is being migrated into the cloud, and several other related online systems will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Dec. 2 to approximately 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9. This will affect many tasks regularly performed by students, faculty and staff. For example, you will be unable to enter grades, view or pay student bills, register for classes, view pay stubs and more. Faculty, students and staff are encouraged to plan accordingly. MCV Campus Spring Parking Lottery
9 a.m.
VCU Parking will restart the MCV Campus lottery process today, Nov. 29. All lottery preferences will be reset to ensure an equitable MCV Campus sales process for everyone. If you previously submitted your spring parking preferences via email or the online parking portal, you will need to resubmit them online during the new sales period (Nov. 29- Dec. 1).

VCU Choral Ensembles Concert

Lunch Research Series: Sample Size

VCUarts Theatre To Present 'Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde
Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
"Gross Indecency" by Moisés Kaufman is a thrilling courtroom drama based on the true events surrounding the downfall of celebrated poet and playwright Oscar Wilde in Victorian England. Kaufman uses trial transcripts, personal correspondence, interviews and other source materials to tell the story of the 1895 trials that resulted in Wilde's arrest and imprisonment for the crime of sodomy. Performances will be Thursday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 4 at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave.

'Half & Half & Half & Half' Kinetic Imaging Exhibition Opening Reception
Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Half milk, half cream; half real, half dream. Graduate students from VCU's Department of Kinetic Imaging will present a group exhibition of new works made up of more parts than could ever make a whole. The exhibition will be shown through Dec. 15, with an opening reception on Dec. 2. The exhibit will be at Murray N. DePillars Gallery, 1000 W. Broad St., first floor, from the entrance to the left.

Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers
Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts and surveys. Compensation is provided. Primary investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
