VCU Cabell First Novelist Award Announces Winner
"The Final Revival of Opal and Nev" by Dawnie Walton, (Simon & Schuster) has been selected as the winner of the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award. Walton is scheduled to visit VCU in the fall to accept the award. Thanks go to VCU's MFA in Creative Writing, Community Readers, the Cabell Award Committee and sponsors of the event - VCU College of Humanities and Sciences, VCU English Department, VCU Libraries and Barnes & Noble at VCU.

Do You Smoke Tobacco Cigarettes?
Individuals who smoke tobacco cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation may be available. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.

Twins, Triplets and More
The Mid-Atlantic Twin Registry is a group of twins and their families who are willing to consider taking part in twin-based, health-related research. MATR welcomes twins of any age, ethnicity and zygosity (identical or fraternal). All twins and triplets in the VCU community are invited to to register with MATR and to pass the registry's information on to any other twins.
