First-Time Comic Creator Workshop: Get Started To Win a Prize in 'Jurgen' Contest

Interested in censorship? Comic Arts? This online, interactive session taught by The Workshop at Cabell Library is designed for beginner-level comic creators, both artists and non-artists. Participants will make their own simple comic layouts using Adobe Express with stock images or simple drawings. 'Tragedy in the Blink of an Eye': Kamal Bherwani With Rams in Recovery

Rams in Recovery welcomes Kamal Bherwani to speak about his family's lived experience with the ongoing nationwide overdose crisis. Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers
Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts/surveys. Compensation is provided.
