Special Announcement
Safety During Winter Break Away From Campus, on the Road
As community members leave the campuses for an extended break, VCU Police reminds everyone to prepare spaces and vehicles for the break and travel. Be sure to lock all doors and windows in residences, offices and vehicles and take all keys with you; take home or lock away valuables. Park vehicles in well-lighted spots, or, if you're traveling, check vehicle tire pressure and fluid levels. If you leave a bike, secure it legally and with a U-lock. For more safety tips, contact the VCU Police Crime Prevention Team at crimeprevreq@vcu.edu or visit https://police.vcu.edu/stay-safe/holiday-safety/
