VCU's Rams in Recovery and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services invite any student interested in recovery from substance use and mental disorders to apply for a scholarship. Program requirements include attending one community meeting per month and a weekly seminar with other students in recovery. Applicants must have abstained four-plus months. Individuals between the ages of 18-65 who vape nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are invited to participate in a research study that examines the effects of vaping on eating behavior. Two, three-hour laboratory visits, each with a buffet meal, are required. Compensation is provided. Principal Investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.
