Funding Opportunity for Juniors Interested in Public Service

VCU Alumni and Community Bike Ride
Saturday, Sep. 24, 2022 at 8 a.m.
The VCU Alumni Riding Rams and VCU Recreation and Well-Being will host the fall VCU Alumni and Community Bike Ride. Gather for a meet-and-greet breakfast at 8 a.m. The ride begins at 9 a.m. at the Cary Street Gym, 101 S. Linden St. with routes to be determined later (minimum of 25 miles). The event includes SAG vehicle support, cue sheets, complimentary pre-ride bike maintenance provided by VCU RecWell and a midride rest stop. The ride is limited to cyclists 18 or older, and participants must wear a helmet.

'The Color of Care': Film Screening, Panel Discussion and Reception

Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers
Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts or surveys. Compensation is provided.
