Do You Vape?

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 65 who vape nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are invited to participate in a research study that examines the effects of vaping on eating behavior. Two, three-hour laboratory visits, each with a buffet meal, are required. Compensation is provided. Principal investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.

The F.O.O.D. Study Seeks Black Students To Participate in Online Survey

The Furthering Our Understanding Of Diet (F.O.O.D.) Study invites Black students to participate in one of two online surveys that seek to understand factors that influence food choices. Students may participate in either of the two surveys. Study 1 takes 20 to 25 minutes to complete. Study 2 takes 30 to 35 minutes to complete. Virtual Reality Gaming for Back Pain

Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who?
