VCU's Department of Painting and Printmaking will present a lecture by artist Zoë Charlton, a professor at George Mason University. She creates figure drawings, collages, installations and animations that depict her subject’s relationship to culturally loaded objects and landscapes. Charlton's work has been included in national and international exhibitions, including The Delaware Contemporary (Wilmington), Studio Museum of Harlem (New York) and Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
