Zoë Charlton: Visiting Artist Lecture

She creates figure drawings, collages, installations and animations that depict her subject’s relationship to culturally loaded objects and landscapes. Charlton's work has been included in national and international exhibitions, including The Delaware Contemporary (Wilmington), Studio Museum of Harlem (New York) and Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. She received a Pollock-Krasner grant in 2012. She creates figure drawings, collages, installations and animations that depict her subject’s relationship to culturally loaded objects and landscapes. Chefs Needed for Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser

VCU Police will host its annual chili cook-off fundraiser to benefit FRIENDS Association for Children on Friday, Oct. 28 at noon. Filipino American Heart Health Study

Youssef Roman, Pharm.D., Ph.D., of VCU's School of Pharmacy is conducting an epidemiological study to assess the prevalence and causes of heart diseases in Filipino Americans. This study is for those who consider themselves Filipino with both biological parents of Filipino heritage. The study is funded by VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research.
