VCU Online Universal Design for Learning Regional Conference Call for Submissions

VCU Online and Continuing and Professional Education will host its inaugural regional conference on Universal Design for Learning at the Omni Richmond Hotel, 100 S. 12th St. The event will kick off with a pre-conference event on Monday, June 19, 2023, followed by the conference, Tuesday-Thursday, June 20-22, 2023. Chili Chefs Needed for Annual Fundraising Cook-off

VCU Police will host an annual chili cook-off fundraiser to benefit FRIENDS Association for Children on Oct. 28. Chefs are needed and all chili recipes, including turkey, bean-less and vegetarian are welcome. VCU/VCU Health students, faculty, staff, significant others and relatives are welcome as chefs; there is no entry fee for chefs.

Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers

Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts/surveys. Compensation will be provided. Register at the following URL.
