Astrid Kensinger and Maysaa Al-Mumin – Mapping Migration Memories: Extending Intangible Heritage Through Physical Re-Enactment

Rest as Resistance: A Self-Care Group for Women of Color
Looking to improve your self-care routine? The Rest as Resistance group is a self-care group that empowers women of color to make rest and well-being a priority. The group will be offered in two sections: Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (Suite 215, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave.) and Thursdays from 1-2 p.m. at 815 South Cathedral Place. Recreation and Well-Being First Aid, CPR and AED Training - Blended Learning
VCU RecWell will offer the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course, which prepares participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace CPR/AED and first aid training. Successful completion of this course provides participants with a certificate valid for two years. RecWell Aquatics is offering a lifeguard review for currently certified lifeguards seeking recertification, March 17-18 at Cary Street Gym, 101 S.
