Banner Services Outage
From 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 to approximately 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, Banner will be unavailable while it is being migrated into the cloud, and several other related online systems will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Dec. 2 to approximately 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9. This will affect many tasks regularly performed by students, faculty and staff. For example, you will be unable to enter grades, view or pay student bills, register for classes, view pay stubs and more. Faculty, students and staff are encouraged to plan accordingly. Craft Department Pottery Sale and Fundraiser
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Students and faculty from VCU's Department of Craft/Material Studies will host their annual pottery sale and fundraiser Nov. 30-Dec. 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily in the first floor lobby of the Murry N. DePillars Building, 1000 W. Broad St. Mugs, magnets, vases, bowls, jewelry, sculpture and more will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will support student travel to the 2023 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference in Cincinnati.

PHEs To Present Mindful Finals: Reflection Bracelets

VCUarts Theatre To Present 'Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde

"Gross Indecency" by Moisés Kaufman is a thrilling courtroom drama based on the true events surrounding the downfall of celebrated poet and playwright Oscar Wilde in Victorian England. Kaufman uses trial transcripts, personal correspondence, interviews and other source materials to tell the story of the 1895 trials that resulted in Wilde's arrest and imprisonment for the crime of sodomy. Performances will be today, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 4 at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave.

The Shape of Relations: Knots and Other Stories

Radmila Sazdanovic, Ph.D., North Carolina State University, will discuss knots and their invariants at a talk to be hosted by VCU's Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Do You Vape Electronic Cigarettes?
Individuals who vape/use electronic cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation will be provided. This study will be conducted at VCU. Principal investigator is Alison Breland, Ph.D., Department of Psychology.

Concussion Research Study
The Children's Hospital of Richmond concussion program, as part of a study funded by the Child Health Research Institute, is recruiting adolescents between the ages of 10-18 for a concussion research study investigating the acoustic startle reflex. We are seeking 1) participants with a diagnosed concussion in the last week, and 2) non-concussed individuals with no history of concussion in the last year.
