Teddy 'Toss' at Women's Basketball Game vs. Gardner Webb University
Monday, Dec. 12, 2022 at 6 p.m.
A Teddy "Toss" for the Children's Hospital of Richmond will be held at the Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St. Bring a teddy bear and receive discounted admission to the game. All teddy bears collected will be donated to the Children's Hospital of Richmond and other local charities. Also, take your holiday card photo before the game with Rodney the Ram at a photo booth. Pick up a free women's basketball team poster at the VCU fan center.

Supporting Health Equity for Individuals With Disabilities During Disasters and Crisis

This online presentation hosted by VCU's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will explore the health inequities and systemic barriers faced by disabled people in accessing health care, the disproportionate impact on disabled people during disasters and crisis and solutions for these challenges. Ready, SET, Health! Researchers at VCU are looking for young women interested in changing their diet and physical activity routine to enroll in a new study. Eligible participants will receive a free program designed to help them meet their goals for healthy living. The study requires two in-person data collection visits (one before the program and one after), but the entire four-month program is conducted completely online.
