VCU RealTime Migration to TimeClock Plus Cloud

At the beginning of winter break, VCU RealTime will be migrated from on-campus servers to TimeClock Plus cloud, the vendor for RealTime. This transition is planned at the start of winter break on Friday, Dec. 23 to minimize impact on RealTime users and payroll processing. The transition of VCU RealTime will bring a fresh new look to RealTime, however, there will be no changes in how you perform your daily tasks in the system. Employees can clock in and out, enter hours via timesheet and request leave and managers and timekeepers can review, edit and approve hours and leave in the same manner. During the transition, RealTime will be down from 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, Dec. 23. Communication will go out when RealTime is back online and employees who were not able to clock in or out during the transition period should be able to perform a missed punch action at their next scheduled clock in or out time. Non-exempt staff who enter time via timesheet entry will be able to enter their time as soon as the system is back online.

For more information, contact VCU Real Time at realtime@vcu.edu.
