'Adaptive Clinical Trial Designs: Are They Right For Your Trial?'

Leadership for Women of Color to Host Justice Cleo Powell

Virginia Supreme Court Justice Cleo E. Powell will speak in the SGA Senate Chambers, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Powell is the first African-American female to serve on Virginia's highest Court and the fifth woman to serve on the Court. From 2000 until 2008, she held the position of Circuit Court Judge for Chesterfield and Colonial Heights where she adjudicated civil cases, divorce and family matters, felony criminal cases and appeals from juvenile and domestic relations and General District Courts. Summer Study Abroad Program: Women’s Health and Healing in Guatemala
Join the VCU Institute for Women’s Health and Highland Support Project and spend a week in partnership with indigenous midwives, doulas and community leaders learning about traditional Maya medicine and exploring the history of health care and healing in Guatemala. Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Exercise
This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have GAD or symptoms of GAD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of GAD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and in response to exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
