Speed Management Symposium

Start by Believing Day / Cover the Cruiser

VCU Police will host Start by Believing Day in the University Student Commons Plaza. Thirteen organizations will have resource tables, giveaways, swag, food and games. Police will be collecting pledges from community members to cover a police cruiser. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to sign pledge cards to start by believing sexual assault survivors when they disclose an assault.

Mental Health Disparities in Marginalized Groups

VCU School of Nursing's Mindful Moms Program, which offers free prenatal yoga or education classes, is geared for those who are 12-26 weeks pregnant. Call for Health Humanities Lab Undergraduate Fellows
The Humanities Research Center’s Health Humanities Lab is calling for applications for 2023-24 Health Humanities Undergraduate Fellows. In 2023-24, fellows will be participating in the East Marshall Street Well Project’s oral history and memorialization projects overseen by two postdoctoral fellows. Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Amazon gift card compensation is available. Participation in this research study is voluntary.
