RamSafe Has Moved to the Ride Pingo App

The mobile app for RamSafe (https://parking.vcu.edu/transportation/ramsafe/), VCU's safe ride program, has transitioned to Ride Pingo (https://www.ridepingo.com/). Students and employees interested in scheduling a ride through RamSafe should place their requests using the Ride Pingo mobile app, available for download in Google Play, Apple app stores and on VCU Mobile. Detailed instructions for using the new Ride Pingo app can be found at go.vcu.edu/ramsafe.

Apply by Jan. 30 for NASA's Summer Undergraduate Internship

NASA has collaborated with VCU's Rice Rivers Center and Hampton University to bring its Student Airborne Research Program to the East Coast. Current undergraduate juniors (rising seniors) are invited to apply to participate in a paid eight-week summer 2023 internship program that will run June through August. Rice Rivers Center will be one of the regional locations for site operations. The program will focus on Earth Systems Science using research aircraft, drones and satellites to collect environmental data for remote sensing analyses. Questions: Email nasasarp@baeri.org. New University College Course for Spring 2023 on Peer Mentoring

UNIV 391-015: Peer Mentoring in Higher Education (CRN 44730) is a two-credit hybrid course centered on how peer support initiatives can build campus community and foster student success. The coursework focuses on designing peer support projects intended to improve the lives of VCU undergraduates. This course with no prerequisites meets in person on Tuesdays, 2–3:15 p.m. and is open to all VCU students.
