Performances of Kate Sicchio's 'Together//Apart'

VCUarts and The Anderson will present "Together//Apart," a collaboration involving Dance and Choreography and Kinetic Imaging faculty member Kate Sicchio, Ph.D.; VCU Engineering faculty member Patrick Martin, Ph.D.; and The Hive Lab. "Together//Apart" is a series of choreographic performances that reflect creative human-robot team research into the symbiotic relationship between dance and engineering. Each performance at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St., lasts 15 minutes and will be followed by a 15 minute Q+A.

Apply by Jan. 30 for NASA's Summer Undergraduate Internship
NASA has collaborated with VCU's Rice Rivers Center and Hampton University to bring its Student Airborne Research Program to the East Coast. Current undergraduate juniors (rising seniors) are invited to apply to participate in a paid eight-week summer 2023 internship program that will run June through August. Rice Rivers Center will be one of the regional locations for site operations. The program will focus on Earth Systems Science using research aircraft, drones and satellites to collect environmental data for remote sensing analyses. Questions: Email nasasarp@baeri.org.
