Local author, journalist and journalism educator Bonnie Newman Davis will discuss virtually her new book, "Truth Tellers: The Power and Presence of Black Women Journalists Since 1960," in which she chronicles the careers and lives of 24 Black women journalists nationwide who entered newsrooms during and after the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
