Former VCU Journalism Professor To Discuss Her Book on Pioneering Black Journalists

Local author, journalist and journalism educator Bonnie Newman Davis will discuss virtually her new book, "Truth Tellers: The Power and Presence of Black Women Journalists Since 1960," in which she chronicles the careers and lives of 24 Black women journalists nationwide who entered newsrooms during and after the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Davis is managing editor of the Richmond Free Press. She was associate professor of journalism at VCU from 2004-2011. Register at the following URL.
