Automation and Controls Training
In partnership with VCU Continuing and Professional Education, VCU's College of Engineering will offer Automation and Controls Training, June 5-9, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and also Aug. 7-11. This introductory noncredit course in industrial automation is intended for engineers, technicians or supervisors who work in the area of industrial automation, but do not have in-depth knowledge of PLCs. The class will be in Room 105, VCU College of Engineering West Hall. A degree in engineering is helpful, but not required. Early bird and group rates available. Register at the following URL.

Are You the Parent or Guardian of a Teenager? VCU Study on Teen Decision Making
Teens between 14-17 years old are invited to participate in a study on risky decision making. The study involves two online surveys about nine months apart, each completed remotely at teens’ convenience. Teen participants are compensated for both surveys. Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Amazon gift card compensation is available. Participation in this research study is voluntary.

Concussion Research Study
The Children's Hospital of Richmond concussion program, as part of a study funded by the Child Health Research Institute, is recruiting adolescents between the ages of 10-18 for a concussion research study investigating the acoustic startle reflex. We are seeking 1) participants with a diagnosed concussion in the last week, and 2) non-concussed individuals with no history of concussion in the last year.
