Generative AI Glitch Art: Looking for Meaning in all the Wrong Places

Curious about the controversies surrounding AI-generated art? This VCU Libraries online session with The Workshop explores the problems, possibilities and powers of image generation from text. The presenter will be Adam Hyland, a doctoral student the University of Washington's Human Centered Design and Engineering program. Pass Her The Pen: Writing Workshop

Charting the Course for Middle School Career Development Webcast

In this webcast, the Center on Transition invites collaborative partners from Loudoun County Public School Division to share interventions, strategies and reflections from their participation in the Supported Employment Initiative. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction-Express

Presented in partnership with The Innerwork Center, VCU Continuing and Professional Education presents a course on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, taught live online over eight sessions on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. from April 11-May 30. Learn the science and application of mind-body medicine to promote resilience and healing. Recreation and Well-Being First Aid, CPR and AED Training - Blended Learning
RecWell offers the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course, which prepares participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace CPR/AED and first aid training. Successful completion of this course provides participants with an certificate valid for two years.

Recreation and Well-Being Lifeguarding Instructor Course - Blended Learning
Learn how to plan and teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses. The certification course runs April 10-14, Monday-Friday, 4-9 p.m. Register by April 2. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, First Aid and Administering Emergency Oxygen, valid for two years. Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Amazon gift card compensation is available. Participation in this research study is voluntary.
