She is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Richmond. She writes and researches about authoritarian regimes in the Arab world, state-society relations and the impact of international intervention. Her book, "Polarized and Demobilized: Legacies of Authoritarianism in Palestine," was published in 2020 by Oxford University Press. Recreation and Well-Being Aquatics Water Safety Instructor Certification

This course will prepare participants to plan and teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program. Courses include Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim and Safety Training for Swim Coaches. This blended learning course contains a combination of digital and in-person instruction. Online training must be completed prior to participating in the in-person skills sessions. Classes will be held May 23-June 8 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-4 p.m.
