Upcoming Campus Traffic Closures May 12-16
Today, Friday, May 12, through Tuesday, May 16, multiple streets around the Monroe Park Campus (between Belvidere and Harrison) will be closed as the city installs speed tables in the area. While installing the speed tables, the contractor will close one street at a time. The affected streets will be: Friday, May 12, West Cary, between Belvidere and Madison, between Brunswick and Morris, between Harrison and Linden and between Cherry and Laurel; Monday, May 15, West Grace between Laurel and Shafer, between Shafer and Harrison and between Harrison and Ryland; and Tuesday, May 16, West Franklin between Shafer and Laurel, between Ryland and Harrison and between Harrison and Shafer. VCU Market Day at The Diamond
Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Virginia Department of Agriculture will present the first ever VCU Market Day at The Diamond, 2001 Arthur Ashe Blvd. Shop from over 20 Virginia brands before heading in to cheer on VCU baseball. The Rams take on the University of Richmond Spiders at 2 p.m. The VCU Market is a free and public event. A ticket is required for entry into the game.

$500 Design Contest Deadline Extended to June 12
Looking for a new project with a chance to get paid $500? The Friends of the VCU Libraries invites students and alumni of the previous five years (2018-2022) to submit designs for use on a VCU Libraries T-shirt and other promotional materials. Black Love Safe Love
This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age. The study requires participation in a 120-minute session and completion of a questionnaire. Amazon gift card compensation is available. Participation in this research study is voluntary.

VCU School of Medicine 2023 ACCESS Symposium Accepting Abstracts
VCU School of Medicine's ACCESS program has issued an invitation to the 2023 ACCESS Symposium, themed “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Global Era." The symposium will feature keynote speakers, workshops, panels and research from students nationally and internationally.
