This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace CPR/AED and first aid training. Successful completion of this course provides participants with a certificate valid for two years. Recreation and Well-Being Summer Children's Swim Lessons Monday and Thursday Session 2

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, the first payday of the fiscal year (for pay period June 10-June 24), is always paid in July. Cashiers Office Closing for Fiscal Year-End

VCU's Cashiers Office will be closing early at noon on Friday, June 30, due to Fiscal Year-End. Enrolling Now for TEENS!, a Virtual Weight-Management Program for 12-16 Year-Olds

Are you concerned about your teen’s weight? We can help. TEENS is a research program that includes a four-month family-based lifestyle intervention - all conducted virtually - for teens ages 12 to 16 with overweight or obesity. The program is offered by Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. It includes weekly, virtual group classes for teens and parents that cover topics such as healthy eating, physical activity and goal-setting. Teens also participate in exercise sessions led by personal trainers.

Are You the Parent or Guarding of a Teenager? VCU Study on Teen Decision-Making

Teens 14-17 years old are invited to participate in a study on risky decision making. The study involves two online surveys about nine months apart, each completed remotely at teens’ convenience. Teen participants are compensated for both surveys. Principal investigator is Hayley Cleary, Ph.D., Department of Criminal Justice.

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Exercise

This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have PTSD or symptoms of PTSD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of PTSD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and following exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Sex Differences in Response to Aerobic Exercise Training

This study is seeking young females and males (18 to 35 years) to take part in nine weeks of aerobic exercise training. The purpose of this research study is to examine sex differences in cardiovascular adaptations in response to varying aerobic exercise training regimens. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator is Ryan Garten Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
