Avaya Workplace and MyE911 Apps

The Avaya Workplace app allows customers to extend their office number to their remote work site and is ideal for remote workers. Callers can reach remote workers on any device by calling their work telephone number, and when placing a call the caller party will see their work number and not their mobile number. Also, learn how the MyE911 app works in conjunction with Avaya Workplace if the desktop version is being used. The session is open to all VCU and VCU Health. Register at the following URL.

Recreation and Well-Being Summer Sweat Small Group Training Session 2
Learn the foundational methods of cardio and resistance training and program design with the Summer Sweat Series small group training. Each week participants will work with a certified trainer to learn about new equipment and exercises to build skill and knowledge of proper technique and progressions. Session 2 runs Monday, July 3-Friday, Aug. 11, Tuesday and Thursday, 9-10 a.m. at Cary Street Gym. 101 S. Linden St. Register by Friday, June 30.

The Richmond Clean City Commission is working with VCU and other local partners to help VCU students reduce the amount of material that is discarded during move-out time. Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services Provides Trauma-Informed Training
VCU Equity and Access Services will host training by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services through Thursday, June 15. The department will provide Trauma-Responsive Investigations and Sexual Assault Victim Interviews training to VCU's Title IX investigators and other participants from around the Commonwealth. Enrolling Now for TEENS!, a Virtual Weight-Management Program for 12-16 Year-Olds
Are you concerned about your teen’s weight? We can help. TEENS is a research program that includes a four-month family-based lifestyle intervention - all conducted virtually - for teens ages 12 to 16 with overweight or obesity. The program is offered by Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. It includes weekly, virtual group classes for teens and parents that cover topics such as healthy eating, physical activity and goal-setting. Teens also participate in exercise sessions led by personal trainers.

Are You the Parent or Guardian of a Teenager? See VCU Study on Teen Decision-Making
Teens between 14-17 years old are invited to participate in a study on risky decision-making. The study involves two online surveys about nine months apart, each completed remotely at teens’ convenience. Teen participants will be compensated for both surveys. Principal investigator is Hayley Cleary, Ph.D., Department of Criminal Justice.
