Learn the foundational methods of cardio and resistance training and program design with the Summer Sweat Series small group training. Each week participants will work with a certified trainer to learn about new equipment and exercises to build skill and knowledge of proper technique and progressions. Effective Saturday, July 1, there will be a usage fee for utilizing EV charging stations on campus. The fee structure will consist of $1 per hour plus $0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumed during the charging process. Once a vehicle reaches full charge, a fee of $2 per hour will be applied for each idle hour. These rates align with other Virginia universities and local establishments and will help meet the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure on VCU’s campuses.

Join VCU's School of Medicine for the annual ACCESS symposium focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion in the global era. The VCU Cabell First Novelist Award has selected "The Rabbit Hutch” by Tess Gunty (Knopf) as its winner. The author will visit VCU in November to accept the award and give a public reading, as well as participate in a moderated panel and Q&A. VCU's Office of the President launched Project Gabriel in spring 2023 to report, reconcile and heal the wounds caused by VCU’s historic ties to the institution of slavery. Project Gabriel is hosting two community forums, on Thursday, June 29, from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 11, from 6-8 p.m. Several volunteers are needed to serve as table hosts to guide conversations for feedback.
