VCU Libraries will present a simple zine-making workshop in conjunction with the “Care and Custody: Past Responses to Mental Health” traveling exhibit focused on mental health topics. Materials will be provided for participants to create single-sheet and pamphlet-stitched booklets and more. RecWell will offer the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course, which prepares participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace CPR/AED and first aid training. Successful completion of this course provides participants with a certificate valid for two years. This is a research study aiming to receive feedback on a sexual health intervention designed for couples. To be eligible to participate, you have to identity as Black or African American and be 18 to 35 years of age.
