Volunteers Sought for VCU President's Special Commission on Slavery and Justice

VCU's Office of the President launched Project Gabriel in spring 2023 to report, reconcile and heal the wounds caused by VCU’s historic ties to the institution of slavery. Project Gabriel is hosting two community forums, on June 29 from 6-8 p.m. and July 11 from 6-8 p.m. Several volunteers are needed to serve as scribes to record key themes presented in virtual breakout room sessions.

First July Paycheck Scheduled for July 3

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, the first payday of the fiscal year (for pay period June 10-June 24), is always paid in July.
