'When Breath Becomes Air' - Book Discussion

Cultural Competency and Language Classes
VCU Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the School of World Studies, will hold live online Cultural Competency and Language Classes for VCU and VCU Health employees and community members for one academic credit. Intro to Conversational Spanish I and II and Language and Culture: Francophone World begin the week of Aug. 28 and run through early December. Fall Self-Defense: Aikido Courses
VCU Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, will hold face-to-face and online self-defense Aikido courses for one academic credit this fall. Courses at The Fan Dojo begin the week of Aug. 21 and run through early December on Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (HPEX 121.C90) or Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (HPEX 121.C91). A $65 fee goes to the dojo to cover a training shirt, which stands in for a traditional training uniform, and facility costs. An asynchronous online course is also available (HPEX 121.C94).
