Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an excel file into eServices. This class will prepare participants to prevent, recognize, respond to and care for aquatic and breathing/cardiac emergencies. Participants will also learn critical thinking and communication skills that are crucial to effective emergency response. This course meets the requirements for lifeguard employment at many pool facilities but may not meet requirements for waterfront, water park or specialty facilities.
