Join Technology Services for the annual VCU Tech Fair at Jonah L. Larrick Student Center, 900 Turpin St. The fair will feature lots of cool stuff and lots of cool tech. Jamming With Generative AI: A Music Workshop

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
VCU Medical Center School of Pharmacy along with VCU Police will hold a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kroger, 901 N. Lombardy St. The goal of the event is to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs while educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

New 2024-2025 FAFSA Form Will Be Available in December
Major changes and improvements are coming to the FAFSA form: stay informed and receive up-to-date notifications and information from Student Financial Services. The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid will be hosting a virtual session on federal financial aid eligibility, how to create an FSA ID, key changes and how to complete the 2024-20 today, Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. A virtual demonstration on how to complete the FAFSA will be held at 2 p.m.

CVS Program Provides Health Care Shadowing Opportunity
The Compromiso, Valores, Servicio (CVS) Program is a pathway program in the spring and early summer offered to Spanish-speaking bilingual students ages 18 and up who are interested in serving as members of a health care team. The program gives students mentorship and experience serving as medical interpreters while exploring a career in pharmacy. Each participant will receive $500 per semester to cover any program costs. Deadline to apply for Spring 2024 is Nov. 1, 2023.

Spit for Science Seeks Undergraduate Research Assistant for Spring
Undergraduate team members will assist with education and outreach and work in teams to develop research questions and analyze Spit for Science data.
