A National Ovation: L. Douglas Wilder Legacy Gala

Celebrate former Va. Gov. L. Douglas Wilder's seven decades of public service and dedication to civil rights, visionary education and people-first governance. A documentary film will have its premiere on Wilder's 93rd birthday, offering personal insights into his life, revealing memories, passions and the experiences that forged the man. Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, Mexico's Ambassador to U.S., To Give Talk
Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
VCU's Global Education Office will host the ambassador of Mexico to the United States, Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, in Room 303, James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave. The ambassador will deliver a lecture to students, staff and faculty regarding the interdependence and common futures of Mexico and the United States.

Recreation and Well-Being Personal Training Fitness Consultation
RecWell’s fitness consultation is a flexible session for participants to work one-on-one with a certified personal trainer and ask questions, perform fitness assessments specific to individual goals and develop a fitness program. This 90-minute session is designed for those who might not need full guidance from a trainer, but want to learn more about equipment, progressions or general health status. Consultations are available at both Cary Street Gym and MCV Campus Rec Center. Registration is ongoing.

Recreation and Well-Being Children's Swim Lessons Spring Session 1
Registration for children’s swim lessons at the Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center is now open to VCU students and RecWell members.
